This poetic Pistachio cafe is a partner in the Lotta Studios initiative, one that supports the Artists who are working towards building community and growing a culture that is supportive of the freelance and creative workflow.
This project started in 2015 with founders Luke and Mistina Hanscom who’s photographic career allowed for an investment to support the growing community of artists that reside in the Westville neighborhood. With a board of supporters that was built of local stake holders, Lotta Studio began transforming a once vacant space into a brick and mortar facility designed to up hold those creative minds that push our commutative visions forward while growing each others skills in techniques, creativity and community involvement.
Pistachio is this buildings public connection, it allows the community to enter into a mainly private artist space and experience the beauty that is created in the this building. Artist, designer and architect, Mohamad Hafez is the brilliant mind behind the Pistachio Cafe, a dream which was grown from childhood memories paired with adult experiences and lessons learned. This space is a home that we welcome you into.We welcome the public into Pistachio cafe, while holding you to our standards of care for our creative environment. Always look, always listen and feel free to soak up the delicate ora of what our communities are doing together.
